Aeroporto centro città? Subito!
Per arrivare dall'aeroporto al centro della città è davvero molto semplice. Anche qui abbiamo vari modi, ma secondo noi ovviamente il più comodo e più veloce è proprio la metro. A questo punto potrai decidere se prendere il bus n° 84 o 384. L'autobus n°84 parte dalle ore 5:00 fino alle 00:20 circa, ogni 20-30 minuti. Sentiamo di farti una considerazione in merito ai Taxi, che hanno si dei prezzi molto bassi, ma ce ne sono moltissimi abusivi che potrebbero farti pagare molto più del dovuto. Rivolgiti esclusivamente ai taxi con la scritta "OK" che in 15 minuti circa ti permetteranno di raggiungere il centro della città (con 10 o 15 Lev Bulgari cioè 5/8 euro). Nel caso in cui tu decidessi di fare come noi, cioè prendere la metro, potrai trovarla all'uscita del terminal 2 sulla sinistra, a quel punto prendi la linea Rossa e scendi alla fermata "Serdika" ovvero in pieno centro, calcola che ci vogliono circa 20 minuti.

Hotel: abbiamo soggiornato in un Hotel in pieno centro, cioè proprio sul lato destro della statua di Santa Sofia, nella piazza centrale, per essere proprio precisi, ahahahah! L'hotel si chiama "Santa Sofia" - 4 ulita trapezitsa, entrata 1, secondo piano. Arrivando con la metro rossa e scendendo alla fermata "Serdika" ti troverai l'hotel a due passi. Per 3 notti abbiamo speso circa 135 Lev (69 euro in totale, sempre per due).

4- Rosso Melnik, vino bulgaro davvero buonissimo!
5- Shopska salata, pomodoro, cetriolo, peperoni arrostiti e formaggio
6- Lokumi, dolce tipico bulgaro
7- Kapama, 3 tipi di carne con riso e spezie
1- Restaurant Shtastliueca - "vitosha boulevard" (tra gli 8 e i 10 euro a persona per un pranzo/cena completi)
2- Divaka, piatti tipici a base di carne, prezzo di circa 10 euro a persona (pranzo/cena completi)
3- Izbata Tavern - "uutsa slawanska", (circa 10 euro a persona), ristorante molto caratteristico dove potrai assaggiare gli involtini ripieni di carne (sarmi) e un fantastico dolce alla zucca cotto al forno
4- Manastirska magernitza - "ulitsa han asparu n°67 (tra i 10 e i 13 euro a persona) la sera durante la cena potrai trovare anche degli spettacoli con costumi tipidi bulgari.
What to eat and where:
1- Tarator, cold soup with yogurt, cucumber, parsley, fennel and walnuts
2- Shkembe chorba, soup with lamb and pork
3- Lamusaka, potatoes and minced meat
4- Red Melnik, very good Bulgarian wine!
5- Shopska salata, tomato, cucumber, roasted peppers and cheese
6- Lokumi, a typical Bulgarian dessert
7- Kapama, 3 types of meat with rice and spices
1- Restaurant Shtastliueca - "vitosha boulevard" (between 8 and 10 euros per person for a complete lunch / dinner)
2- Divaka, typical meat dishes, price of about 10 euros per person (complete lunch / dinner)
3- Izbata Tavern - "uutsa slawanska", (about 10 euros per person), a very characteristic restaurant where you can taste the rolls stuffed with meat (sarmi) and a fantastic pumpkin baked dessert
4- Manastirska magernitza - "ulitsa han asparu n ° 67 (between 10 and 13 euros per person) in the evening during dinner you can also find shows with typical Bulgarian costumes.
NB. Quando avrai bisogno di cambiare i soldi ovviamente affidati solo a dei cambi autorizzati, inoltre se deciderai di pernottare nell'hotel da noi indicato, sappi che proprio li difronte c'è la banca dove potrai trovare il tasso di cambio migliore.
Nel caso in cui tu decidessi di visitare Sofia sotto il periodo di Natale preparati alla visita di mercatini molto carini e luci ovunque, l'atmosfera è davvero magica.
Ricorda che non puoi assolutamente perdere la visita al Monastero di Rila, patrimonio dell'Unesco. Tramite i vari mezzi raggiungi la stazione degli autobus, da qui potrai prendere il bus che ogni giorno conduce in questo luogo fantastico, andata e ritorno costa circa 10 euro.

Remember that you can not miss the visit to the Rila Monastery, a UNESCO heritage site. Through the various means reach the bus station, from here you can take the bus that every day leads to this fantastic place, round trip costs about 10 euros.
