Come Raggiungere Amsterdam???
Per arrivare dall'aeroporto di Amsterdam al centro città si possono utilizzare varie soluzioni e cioè:
1- Autobus - in 30 minuti si raggiunge il centro città con il Bus n° 197 e 370. Il prezzo del biglietto va dai 3,10 ai 4 euro (solo andata);
2- Treno - (soluzione utilizzata da noi) con 20 minuti si raggiunge la stazione Centrale di Amsterdam. In aeroporto troverai delle cabine gialle, nel terminal arrivi, dalle quali acquistare i biglietti. Con circa 3,30 euro potrai acquistare un biglietto.
3- Taxi - sconsigliamo vivamente questa opzione poichè i taxi hanno dei prezzi abbastanza elevati.
NB. La stazione dei treni si trova sotto l'aeroporto di Amsterdam Schipol.
How to Reach Amsterdam???
To get from Amsterdam airport to the city center you can use various solutions:
1- Bus - in 30 minutes you can reach the city center by bus no. 197 and 370. The ticket price ranges from 3.10 to 4 euros (one way);
2- Train - (solution used by us) with 20 minutes you reach the Central Station of Amsterdam. At the airport you will find yellow cabins, in the arrivals terminal, where you can buy tickets. With around 3.30 euros you can buy a ticket.
3- Taxi - we strongly advise against this option as taxis are quite expensive.
NB. The train station is located under the Amsterdam Schipol airport.
I nostri Hotel: abbiamo scelto un Hotel con una posizione davvero molto comoda. Si tratta di una zona a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro, molto tranquilla, vicina anche a dei supermercati. La colazione è davvero buona ed abbondante, ovviamente non essendo un 5 stelle non aspettarti chissà cosa, ma tanto come diciamo noi "è più che sufficiente per dormirci" ed è molto pulito. Nel Budget Hotel Hortus, due notti per due e colazione inclusa abbiamo speso 120 euro (tasse incluse), che per la media di Amsterdam è davvero un buon prezzo. Avendo l'aereo del ritorno alle 5 di mattina, per l'ultima notte, abbiamo deciso di dormire all' Ibis Budget Airport Amsterdam, un hotel davvero molto bello, pulito e comodissimo poichè ha una navetta gratuita che dall'Hotel conduce all'aeroporto e viceversa e ci sono 2/3 corse all'ora. Le corse partono dalle 4:15 di mattina fino all'1:15 di notte circa.
Our Hotels: we have chosen a Hotel with a very convenient location. It is an area 10 minutes walk from the center, very quiet, also close to supermarkets. Breakfast is really good and plentiful, obviously not a 5-star do not expect something, but as we say "it's more than enough to sleep" and is very clean. In the Budget Hotel Hortus, two nights for two and breakfast included we spent 120 euros (including taxes), which for the average of Amsterdam is really a good price. Having the plane back at 5 in the morning, for the last night, we decided to sleep at the Ibis Budget Airport Amsterdam, a very nice hotel, clean and very convenient as it has a free shuttle from the hotel to the airport and vice versa and there are 2/3 trips per hour. The rides start at 4.15am in the morning until about 1.15pm.
Cosa Vedere assolutamente :
1- Van Gogh Museum (ingresso 18 euro), per questo museo consigliamo di prenotare online il biglietto poichè terminano facilmente;
2- Rijkmuseum (museo più grande d'Olanda);
3- Piazza Dam (la piazza principale e più famosa);
4- Casa Anna Frank (ingresso 10 euro) se sei un amante della storia non puoi di certo perdertela;
5- Heineken Experience (ingresso 18 euro) se adori questa fantastica birra non puoi perdere l'occasione di visitare la prima fabbrica Heineken;
6- Quartiere a luci rosse;
7- Mercato dei fiori (dove potrai acquistare i bulbi dei famosi tulipani olandesi);
8- Museo delle cere (ingresso 23 euro);
9- Quartiere Jordaan (uno dei più famosi della città);
10- Zaandam e Zaanze Schans
Where to eat:
1- Febo, let's say it's a self-service sota, but where you sell sandwiches, you have to try it;
2- Muc, delicious pancakes, where a portion for two costs about 10 euros and do not drink coconut juice;
3- Chips, near Dam Square,
4- Omelegg, let's say that in Holland they use a lot of these omlette and they are really good, do not let them miss you;
5- Boodje Bert, various dishes of Dutch cuisine;
6- ToastableNieuwendijk, here you will find various types of toasts and huge sandwiches and double layer;
7- Frens haringhande, next to the flower market you will find this bar that sells sandwiches with fish and fried fish;
8- The good companion, seafood restaurant;
9- The happy bull, here they make crazy hamburgers !!!!
Dove mangiare:
1- Febo, diciamo che è una sota di Self service dove però si vendono panini, devi provarlo;
2- Muc, buonissimi pancakes, dove una porzione per due costa circa 10 euro e non pedertevi il succo di cocco;
3- Chips, vicino a Piazza Dam,
4- Omelegg, diciamo che in Olanda usano molto fare queste omlette e sono davvero buone,non fartele mancare;
5- Boodje Bert, piatti vari della cucina olandese;
6- ToastableNieuwendijk, qui troverai vari tipi di toast e panini enormi e doppio strato;
7- Frens haringhande, accanto al mercato dei fiori troverai questo baracchino che vende panini con pesce e pesce fritto;
8- The good companion, ristorante di pesce;
9- The happy bull,qui fanno degli hamburger pazzeschi!!!!
What to See Absolutely:
1- Van Gogh Museum (admission € 18), for this museum we recommend booking the ticket online as they end easily;
2- Rijkmuseum (largest museum in the Netherlands);
3- Piazza Dam (the main and most famous square);
4- Casa Anna Frank (admission € 10) if you are a lover of history you can not certainly lose it;
5- Heineken Experience (admission € 18) if you love this fantastic beer you can not miss the chance to visit the first Heineken factory;
6- Red light district;
7- Flower market (where you can buy the bulbs of the famous Dutch tulips);
8- Wax Museum;
9- District Jordaan (one of the most famous in the city);
10- Zaandam and Zaanze Schans
NB. Per quanto riguarda i famosi Coffee Shop di Amsterdam, ovviamente ne incontrerai tantissimi. Oltre ad andare in quello più famoso "The Bulldog", che ormai è un'istituzione, devi assolutamente andare da Abraxas, meno conosciuto, ma secondo l'opinione di persone più esperte, è considerato uno dei migliori Coffe Shop. Inoltre, consigliamo di girovagare per Amsterdam a piedi, evitate di prendere i mezzi, ci sono degli angoli della città che meritano di essere visti e che possono essere raggiunti solo a piedi!
NB. As for the famous coffee shops in Amsterdam, of course you will meet many. In addition to going to the most famous "The Bulldog", which is now an institution, you absolutely have to go to Abraxas, less known, but according to the opinion of more experienced people, it is considered one of the best Coffe Shop. Also, we recommend wandering around Amsterdam on foot, avoid taking the bus, there are some corners of the city that deserve to be seen and can only be reached on foot!
NB. Nel quartiere a luci rosse non si possono fare foto e neanche riprese, nel caso in cui ti beccasse la polizia rischieresti una bella multa!
A pochi km da Amsterdam non puoi farti mancare il Paese dei mulini, Zaanse Schanse. Facilmente raggiungibile con il treno dalla stazione centrale di Amsterdam, direzione "Uitgeest" per poi scendere alla fermata "Koog Zaandijk", ci vogliono circa 30 minuti per 4,60 euro di biglietto. L'ingresso al sito è gratuito ma per entrare nei mulini dovrai pagare 2,50 euro circa (prezzo indicativo per un singolo mulino).
NB. In the red light district you can not take pictures or even shoot, in case you catch the police you would risk a fine!
A few kilometers from Amsterdam, you can not miss the country of mills, Zaanse Schanse. Easily accessible by train from Amsterdam Central Station, direction "Uitgeest" and then get off at "Koog Zaandijk", it takes about 30 minutes for 4.60 euros ticket. Admission to the site is free but to enter the mills you will have to pay about 2.50 euros (indicative price for a single mill).
